Tennessee Nonprofit Network serves as the statewide nonprofit association for Tennessee.  The organization provides training and technical assistance, connections to resources, and sector-wide research and public policy support to nonprofits in Tennessee and those that serve Tennessee residents.

Connecting

We help like-minded professionals in the nonprofit sector connect with each other, because our sector is strengthened and our community is better served through collective action.

Learning

We provide high-quality learning opportunities so that nonprofit professionals can thrive and more effectively serve our community. Our workshops and training center around the six Standards for Excellence that characterize effective, ethical and accountable nonprofit organizations:

In addition to our in-person or online learning opportunities, we also help direct nonprofits to additional resources needed to do their work effectively through our Help Desk.

Standards for Excellence
  1. Mission, Strategy and Evaluation
  2. Leadership
  3. Legal Compliance and Ethics
  4. Finance and Operations
  5. Resource Development
  6. Public Awareness, Engagement and Advocacy

"The classes and trainings called me to be honest with myself about my readiness [to start a nonprofit] and my capacity. They helped me to see that my life experiences had prepared me for the tasks before me. From the ED Bootcamp to Peer Learning Sessions, you all have it all covered."
