Organizational Alignment: Mission, Vision and Purpose

Mission and vision statements are two powerful tools that help to tell your organization's story and purpose, but how effective are they at those tasks? And if they aren't doing a good job, what might they be saying to your organization's stakeholders?

In this session, we'll take a look at your organization's mission and vision statements to make sure they're painting an accurate picture of your organization's work. We'll review the purpose and structure of these statements, and then draft new statements or tweak existing ones. Bring your existing mission and vision statements and learn how you can revise them to fit your current and future organizational needs. Participants will gain knowledge to understand how organizational values contribute to mission and vision statements, as well as apply their understanding to construct mission and vision statements during the session.
