Organizational Toxicity: Surviving to Thriving

  • Momentum Nonprofit Partners 630 Cooper Street Memphis, TN, 38104 United States (map)

Toxicity is a fact of life in all organizations; however, not all organizations are toxic. Toxic organizations are usually defined as largely ineffective, and can be destructive to its employees and the organization’s bottom line.

In this Community Conversation, we will explore ways to reduce toxicity in the workplace and inspire positivity throughout the culture. We will discuss proven methods to move from negative interpersonal relationships to a culture of gratitude, positive communication, and shared accountability.

By the end of the session, participants will:

1) Recognize and identify toxins in the organization and explore how they affect the organization’s performance and its employees.
2) Discuss possible solutions to reduce, or eliminate, toxicity in the organization to prevent long terms effects in the workplace.
3) Discuss ways to create a positive, productive culture in each organization.

This free Community Conversation event is a good fit for nonprofit professionals at all levels!
