Nonprofits and the Government Shutdown
The partial federal government shutdown has lasted more than 30 days, and the impact is being felt by people and organizations throughout the country. We are aware that some nonprofits’ operations have been affected by the shutdown. While it is not the obligation of nonprofits to do the job of government, some nonprofits have stepped up to fill some of the gaps felt by our community. We are looking to:
1. Gather and share information about local nonprofit resources that can support impacted community members, and
2. Inform elected officials about how the shutdown is affecting nonprofits across Tennessee.
Please take this brief survey to tell us about resources your nonprofit is offering and/or how your organization has been affected.
For questions, please contact: Aria Miles firstname.lastname@example.org. See the list below for resources nonprofits are offering to people impacted by the shutdown.
