Position Title: Director of Fig Tree Emergency Services
Department: Fig Tree Emergency Services

Reports To: Director of Parish Social Ministries
Direct Reports: Food Initiatives Coordinator, Clothes Closet Assistant and Receptionist

Position Summary: The Director is responsible for the leadership of Fig Tree Emergency Services, including Food Initiatives, Clothing Ministries, Gifts for God’s Children, the Birthright Ministry and supporting staff.

Position Level: Full-time (37.5 hours per week). Paid vacation, holidays and personal time.

- Prepare and manage the financial budget for the department
- Ensure that operations in all areas run efficiently and effectively
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners
- Ensure accurate data is collected and recorded for both donations and distributions
- Manage support staff and volunteers in department
- Maintain oversight of company vans
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS                                                                                                              The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or associate’s degree and 2 -3 years of work experience in a leadership role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized; experienced in project planning
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Sensitive to diverse cultures
- Flexible hours; some evenings or weekends
- Able to climb stairs
- Able to lift 25 lbs.
